Prayer in Panama

I've wanted to post this on my blog. It is an amazing testimony from my best girlfriend in College, Misty, and her husband, Matt. It is incredible how the Lord led them throughout the last few years to get where they are now - and all because they fully followed Him. The Lord's desires for them became their desires.

Their journey began when they first felt the Lord leading them to have children. They were excited to start their own family. Then they realized they needed the help of infertility specialists. At this same time, Misty, who owned a Law Practice specialising in Family Law, began doing volunteer work for an local adoption agency to do their accreditation process for International adoptions. Soon, they felt the Lord calling them to adopt. They decided to go down to Panama with the US adoption agency, in hopes of adopting a Panamanian girl whom they had met. The Lord once again changed their desires, from wanting a biological child, to wanting an adoptive child, to now knowing the Lord wanted them down in Panama to help the children - permanently! Misty sold her practice, Matt sold his business, and together, they moved to Panama in order to help the children in a number of ways in addition to adoption.
